Jonathan Ross Plays Natal, Mentions October Release Date!

I for one really like Jonathan Ross. I think hes a great interviewer and Friday Night with Jonathan Ross is a must watch. So imagine my suprise to not only stumble across a video on YouTube this morning of Jonathan playing Xbox 360’s Project Natal, but to discover that he had tweeted the hardware’s release date. Great stuff Jonathan. The 34 second video was taken by Jonthan’s son at a Mircosoft meet somewhere in London yesterday. Jonathan is playing the ball game from the E3 demo last year. The first thing that springs to mind when watching the video (other than that wearing a scarf indoors while playing makes everything look more dramatic) is the obvious lag. This isn’t one to one, not from what I can see. The video comes with a note that says that Microsoft assured the family lag issues would be fixed in time for launch. Check out the video below for yourself below.
But Wossy’s day out with Natal dosen’t come to an end there. Last night he tweeted the following.
“OK. Before bed. Natal on X Box impressive. Not quite there yet i think but tye have til october and if they get it right…skys the limit.”
If they get it right? Let’s hope they do. An October release date would mean we would get our hands on Natal a little sooner than expected. The Microsoft reps he meet could well be cursing his name if the October release date he mentions is true. What do you think? Interested in Natal? Or has Jonathan gone and put you off?
