Playstation 3 Going 3D This Summer!

This is it. The 3D revolution is about to begin. All those rumours about 3D Firmwares look like they could be true. According to Qore over on the US PSN, a plethora of titles including Killzone 2, Wipeout Fury HD, Super Stardust HD, Gran Turismo 5 and LittleBigPlanet are going 3D. This could potentially be the start of something huge, especially if more developers jump on the 3D bandwagon. 3D has been the talk of the town since CES. Looks like Sony has been quickest off the mark.

It’ll be interesting to see how 3D works out for gaming. I’ve read about it so far and seems quite interesting but I hope it’s more than just a passing fad.

It worked pretty well for Batman. It actually adds a lot to the graphics that are already there. Once I’d played Batman in 3D it hardly seemed worth while to play it in normal graphics. I think you’ll be happily mistaken when you try it out
