As you may remember, Ubisoft were around 30% (if not more) into their next itteration of the Splinter Cell franchise when they decided to literally start again: start anew. Their original vision of Sam was a deshevled, gritty and aged looking Sam. The emphasis from the original footage was to "blend" into the crowds, disappear into the mass of people and vanish

Splinter Cell: Conviction hits 360's around the country today but the game isn't hitting PS3's. While the general concensus is that Conviction is headed towards PS3 (a couple of Linked In CVs have already mentioned Conviction PS3), Ubisoft aren't saying anything about it at the moment.

Speaking to VG247, Ubi's Maxime Béland is taking a 'wait and see' approach to the possibility of Conviction coming to PS3.

“We’ll have to see what decisions are made by Ubisoft’s management in the future,” he said. “The decision for Conviction was purely a business move. Microsoft have been wonderful in their support for Conviction.”

We're banking on a Conviction PS3 announcement very soon. Maybe even at E3. Just give it up Ubisoft.
